Here I am with the wonderful Emma Viskic, about to embark on our session ‘Charismatic Crime Fighters’ at the Adelaide Writers’ Week.
It was such a joy to be out and about, in front of a large and enthusiastic audience, without masks, in an atmosphere of near normality.

Travelling to Adelaide was the first time in a year I’d been on a plane. The last time was in March 2020 when I went up to the Scone Festival in northern NSW and appeared with – you guessed it – Emma.
Fingers crossed this year will get better and better and the isolation of 2020 will become a thing of the past.
