Big news! I’m shifting to a new Australian/New Zeland publishine house: Summit Books, an imprint global publisher Simon & Schuster.
This reunites me with my marvellous publisher, Jane Palfreyman. Jane oversaw my first seven crime novels at Allen & Unwin before shifting to launch Summit in Australia/New Zealand a couple of years ago.
It’s a three book deal, with first FULL CIRCLE scheduled to by released this October.

Quite appropriate as FULL CIRCLE is set in Sorrento!
I do want to emphasise that I am not leaving A&U because of any dissatisfaction. Quite the opposite – they have been a brilliant and supportive publisher. Indeed, knowing it was my last book with them, I dedicated last year’s book LEGACY to ‘The Magnificent Team at Allen & Unwin’. They will retain rights to my backlist, including all four Martin Scarsden books and all four Ivan and Nell books.
In February, I resigned with Wildfire Books in the UK for a new two-book deal, beginning with FULL CIRCLE.
