It’s official: production is underway on the streaming/television production of Scrublands – and I could not be happy with the cast, the crew and the production company!
Filming is taking place in regional Victoria on the four-part series. It’s being made by production company Easy Tiger in association with Vic Screen.
Easy Tiger is the company behind such beloved Australian series as Jack Irish (based on Peter Temple’s crime novels) and Rake.
The series will be screened initially on the STAN streaming service in Australia before moving to broadcast television on the Nine Network. UK-based distributor Abacus Media Rights is handling international sales.
Director is Greg McLean, chief writer is Felicity Packard and the cast is headed by Luke Arnold (playing Martin Scarsden), Bella Heathcote (Mandalay Blonde) and Jay Ryan (Byron Swift).
