This is a very generous hometown honour – The Tilt being shortlisted for the ACT’s Notable Book Awards 2023. The awards are run by Marion – which is the new moniker for the ACT Writers Centre. Marion provides a great support network and resources for Canberra region authors. I’m particularly pleased to be shortlisted alongside my old mate and journalism colleague Paul Daley and his luminous book, Jesustown.

I was so chuffed to see this – Scrublands and Treasure & Dirt topping the list of e-books borrowed from Australian public libraries in 2021. Like an early Christmas present!
